Model design and mechanics

The most detailed futuristic design of the model allows you to hold your breath, watch the movement of parts, the rotation of gears and flywheel, to study the operation of the piston mechanism – the main mechanical components of a real locomotive.

At one plant, your new locomotive travels up to four meters. The direction of movement is switched by a small lever on the model body. The V-Express locomotive has three modes of movement: forward, backward and neutral. It is in neutral mode, starting the mechanism, you can see how the moving parts of the model work before the Express rushes on the rails in the distance. And by switching the locomotive to reverse, you can make auto-coupling with the tender, which is part of the model.

Tender

The tender of the model deserves special attention. In addition to the rising sides, the trailer has a hatch for feeding coal, which closes with a miniature latch. Since, unlike the prototypes, the V-Express locomotive does not run on coal, but is driven by a rubber motor, there is a lot of free space in the tender, which you can use to deliver small loads: sweets, souvenirs, notes. The model also includes 2.45 m of rails.

Assembling the model

Designer “Locomotive with tender V-Express” is made of high-quality plywood board, which is tested by European laboratories and is also used in the production of children’s furniture. The model is fully equipped with everything you need for assembly. The quality of parts is very high – a laser method is used to cut elements from a plywood board. The cuts are made with a CNC laser machine, the lines are approximately made of human hair.

Inside the package you will find plywood boards, from which you only need to squeeze the finished parts and transform them into a self-propelled express with a tender. You will not need glue or special tools. The model is based on step-by-step illustrated instructions with explanations in 11 languages ​​(Ukrainian, English, German, French, Polish, Spanish, Russian, Turkish, Italian, Chinese and Korean).
