Imagine that there is a place on Earth that seems to be frozen in time. A place that can hide anyone who wants to escape from reality. Imagine that in order to get there, it is enough not to look back and be silent. There is only one problem: in this place, sometimes things appear that are scarier than what you are hiding from.
The life of the Grozan family suddenly changes. They move to a new home, and fourteen-year-old Mark is forced to move to a new school. The guy is well-read, smart, but very shy – the perfect target for bullying. Closing himself more and more every day, he dreams of a world where there is no bullying and gratuitous cruelty. One day, Mark meets Sonia, a girl from a parallel class, who tells him about the existence of such a world and the possibility of getting there – just using the elevator in their house. The guy does not understand why Sonya invents nonsense that is easy to refute, but eventually goes after her. He has no idea that a simple trip to the tenth floor threatens something far worse than destroying ideas about the real world.
